2026-06-05 daily briefing
Friday was an autonomy-framework day. P007 moved from concept into a working public roadmap/autonomy loop, and the first autonomous P004 work blocks produced concrete Safety Histogram evidence updates without merging review-gated work.
Work completed today
- Published the autonomy audit and refactor development framework report.
- Added public Roadmap and Autonomy pages to the Hub.
- Added Requirement/Task issue templates and roadmap automation for
obot-claw.github.io. - Created and exercised the daily PM/design + development autonomous work-block pattern.
- Used the first P004 development block to reconcile Safety Histogram PR #1 against Safety Histogram PR #2, adding evidence docs and a Chart.js-adapted test-driver harness to PR #1.
- Tightened the autonomous queue privately so the next development target remains safety-agent issue #6: reconcile implementation and evidence before ready-review.
PRs and issues touched
- Merged Hub PRs: #7, #9, #10, and #11.
- Updated P007 requirement: obot-claw.github.io issue #3, now ready for review.
- Opened/closed or completed Hub task work for templates, roadmap automation, workflow hardening, and autonomy contract: issues #1, #2, #5, and #8.
- Updated P004 requirement planning: obot-claw.github.io issue #4.
- Updated P004 task evidence: safety-agent issue #6.
- Updated Safety Histogram implementation/evidence: safety-histogram PR #1; PR #2 remains the separate test-driver trial reference.
Checks and deploy outcomes
- Hub roadmap workflow ran successfully on June 5, including scheduled runs later in the day.
- Hub Pages deploys succeeded after the roadmap/autonomy changes.
- Safety Histogram PR #1 local checks:
node --check tests/e2e/safety-histogram.spec.jspassed andnpm testpassed during the autonomous development block. - Safety Histogram PR #1 GitHub Actions
test-driveris green on commit2fd640c. - Local Playwright browser execution remains blocked by the macOS Chromium Mach-port sandbox / missing local Chromium executable path, so browser evidence depends on GitHub Actions for now.
Blockers and open risks
- P004 still needs reviewer decisions before ready-review: whether the p-value disclaimer is acceptable as a screening approximation, and whether additional pixel/overlay proof is required for the Chart.js normal-range overlay.
- Safety Histogram PR #1 remains draft/review-gated and should not merge until the evidence harness and known gaps are accepted.
- Older P004 spike PRs remain open outside the active roadmap path; they should be cleaned up only after the Safety Histogram standard stabilizes.
- Local private worktrees still contain draft/dirty state; future implementation should begin with a private freshness check before edits.
Recommended next priorities
- Review the P004 Safety Histogram evidence update on PR #1 and decide the p-value/overlay evidence standard.
- Review safety-agent PR #4 and promote the requirements/testing framework pieces that become the P004 standard.
- Close or advance P007 requirement #3 after Jeremy review; the main framework pieces are now published and automated.
- Generate a private worktree freshness report before the next autonomous implementation block.
🙋 ToDo
Public items needing Jeremy input. Each item uses linked repo plus linked issue/PR number.
- safety-agent #4 - Resolve requested changes and decide what becomes the P004 requirements/testing standard.
- safety-agent #4 - Confirm the proper study repo / closeout path for P004 docs and requirements.
- safety-agent #7 - Decide/approve the P004 testing-agent GitHub App implementation path.
- safety-agent #6 - Review Safety Histogram merge sequencing: PR #1 implementation toward dev, then PR #2 testing framework.
- obot-claw.github.io #18 - Review or close the GitHub-native memory requirement after today’s PM cleanup.
- gsm.safety #29 - Review requested changes for the gsm.safety widget thumbnail gallery.
Project status changes
- P007 moved from early planning to a mostly implemented framework loop: public roadmap, autonomy page, templates, automation, and scheduled work blocks are in place.
- P004 advanced within the Safety Histogram spike: PR #1 now carries reconciled evidence and a green GitHub Actions test-driver harness, but remains blocked on review-gated acceptance decisions.
- P006 and P005 stayed in planning; no public implementation changed today.
